Tri-Luminary was founded in 1999 by Jeremy Kumin, a veteran lighting designer and the technical director of the exclusive event site Laura Belle, where he'd designed and/or supervised all production elements for fashion shows (Bob Mackie, Victoria's Secret) product launches (iwon.com, Maytag, Technics) entertainment industry events (from Broadway Opening Night parties to listening parties for such artists as Dream, Laura Pausini and many others)
Jeremy's theatrical experience before, during, and after his 10 year association with Laura Belle included assisting on Broadway, and assisting, designing, and programming Off-Broadway and in Regional Theatres. He has worked on 5 of the stages of Lincoln Center, at Carnegie Hall, Manhattan Theatre Club, The NYSF Joseph Papp Public Theatre, Second Stage, Playwrights Horizons, the Cherry Lane, The John Houseman, The Westside Arts, Primary Stages, and many other notable theatrical venues. In the dance world, he has toured for 2 years with the American Indian Dance Theatre on 2 continents, and has lit NYC based companies downtown, uptown, and in Chelsea.
He has worked as an assistant to numerous Tony Award winning lighting designers, including Dennis Parichy, Richard Pilbrow, and Jules Fisher/Peggy Eisenhauer.
