CLIENT: Sh-K-Boom Records
TASK: For 2 weeks, turn the Zipper Theatre into the Sh-K-Boom Room, a hip music club where their lineup of Broadway stars would showcase their rock'n'roll chops.
RESULT: A flexible light plot was able to accomodate 7 nights with vastly different styles of music, ranging from the soulful ballads of Jeremy Schonfeld to the sexy sophistication of Sherie Renee Scott, to the smart hook-filled pop of Greg Naughton.
These shots were all taken on July 24, 2003, when Bottomside opened for the headlining artist, CERvERIS. Note the use of custom templates (bottom left)as branding for the record company during the preshow, and to introduce the act by name (bottom right).
